What is cataract?

A cataract is an opacification of the lens of the eye which leads to a decrease in vision.

The Main Causes

Cataract, which occurs as a result of opacification of the lens of the eye, can actually occur for many reasons and can be seen at any age.

Cataract in Afrika

Cataract disease is observed to be more common, especially on the African continent, where hot weather prevails and the suns rays fall steeply and intensively.

Cataract Treatment

There is no medication for cataract. The only solution is surgery, in which the lens of the eye is replaced by a new artificial lens.
